Visiting Teachers!

Fabulous changes are happening at BYKC!! As previously posted, we are adding an intermediate class to the regular weekly schedule. If you missed the last blog post, here is the quick version. The intermediate class builds on and adds to the beginners class. It is still HOT, and it is still 90 minutes. For more detailed information click here.

To better guide you and offer such an exciting addition to the beginning 26 and 2, Angela is heading to Bali to attend Esak Garcia’s e84 Training! While we will miss her, we are excited to announce a few smiling faces will fill in teaching while she is gone.

Bre Brown
BRE E84 (4 of 51)

Bre started her Bikram Yoga journey here in KC! Here are a few words from Bre about what she’s been up to lately.

I’ve been traveling the world and teaching for the past 3 years. I’ve completed 4 Jedi Fight Clubs and 1 e84 Advanced Teacher training. Bikram Yoga Kansas City is where my journey began and I would not have it any other way. You guys are in the best hands with Angela. Please, ask me any questions.

I am BEYOND honored to be welcomed back to my city time and time again. I am committed to you. Let’s unroll our mats and get bendy.

Laura Kantwerk was born and raised in Denver Colorado. She grew up showing horses and when she was 18 years old she fell off her horse jumping and broke her pelvis bone. After 3 months of healing she was back to riding and jumping. By the time she was 25 she felt like she was learning to live with body pain, in lower back and hips. That is when she found the yoga. “I went to my first Bikram yoga class AND instantly my body pain felt so much better.” After practicing yoga for 4 years Laura was inspired to go to Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Los Angels California, Spring 2013. She then she attended E84 Advanced Training in 2017. Laura loves teaching and sharing Bikram Yoga and the E84 Intermediate Class.
