Starting July 9th we are adding 2 classes to our schedule (bringing us back to 26 classes)! We are adding Tuesday and Thursday morning 7 AM classes! For now, they are only going to be available until Labor Day. Depending on attendance, we will make them a permanent addition to the schedule! If this is a class you want to see stay, come in!

Monday June 24th is my (Alex’s) 1 year anniversary teaching!! It has been my pleasure to teach and learn from you all over the last year. I am teaching 4:30 on Monday to celebrate my anniversary! We will be serving fruit after the class. Come in and celebrate with me!

The Silent Auction for Meredith is coming to a close!

This Saturday, June 15, will be the final day for the silent auction. Bidding will close after the 9 AM class. Join us in the lobby for snacks and refreshing Mimosas! Come in and get your last minute bids in! Be prepared to pay and take whatever you win. Not only are we celebrating the end of the auction but Saturday is Meredith’s birthday. Also, don’t forget to sign up for Esak Garcia’s class. It will be a wonderful learning experience and spots are going fast! See you there!

Thank You for Making Last Weekend So Special!

Last weekend was a special weekend at BYKC. Our fundraiser class taught by John Carter was a beautiful success. We raised over $600 dollars for Meredith in cash alone (and the silent auction is still going strong). Angela quietly celebrated her 10 year anniversary but was touched and surprised by the awesome thank you board brought in and signed by the students. Its you all that make BYKC such a special place.

Esak Garcia is coming back to BYKC!! He is teaching a 2 Hour long class for people of all levels! Esak is a wonderful teacher and International Men’s Yoga Champion. He gives seminars all over the world. It will be a truly enriching experience, regardless of if you are new to Bikram or a veteran.

The details:
Cost – $45 per person 100% of all money will go straight to Meredith
When – Thursday July 11th
Time – 5:30 – 7:30
Place – BYKC Hot Box

The Normal 4:30 and 6:30 classes are cancelled for this event!!

This weekend is my (Angela) 10th Anniversary for teaching Bikram Yoga!! It has been a wonderful 10 years with peaks and valleys but always a happy smiling face! Meredith Wilson started her practice with BYKC on June 19th of 2008. Soon to celebrate 5 years! If you know Meredith you know that she is a giving soul that never ask for anything in return. Her support and love for her Yoga and Yoga family was on and off the mat. It is now our turn to give to her. Meredith has been diagnosed with cancer she has no health insurance and is a single Mother of 3 wonderful children 1 still living at home. She and her family are facing the journey of all journeys. Please help! We are looking for goods and services for our silent action. John T Carter will be teaching a CASH ONLY donation, June the 1 Saturday at 11 am. This is not a regular schedule class so any student with a package CAN NOT use it for this special class. Minimum donation of $10. This is a great opportunity to tell your friend or family member to come try HOT Yoga and to support a good cause. Or for you to get back on your mat.
